OUR STAFF

Pamela Thorsch has been the executive director of Rebuilding Together San Diego since December of 2003. Under her leadership the organization expanded from a one-day a year event in April to a year round program. In the past 3 ½ years Ms. Thorsch as coordinated the renovation of over 160 homes and non-profit facilities, at a market value of more than $4 million dollars that have been vested directly into the improvement of neighborhoods and lives throughout San Diego.

Her vision, passion for her work and community partnership development has dramatically raised the exposure of RTSD, which in turn has provided more opportunities for the organization to increase its ability to reach out and help those less fortunate in our community.

Ms. Thorsch has a background in community relations, real estate, government and public affairs. With over twenty years of experience in management, marketing, fundraising and event coordination she has received local, national and international recognition for her work.

Additionally she has proudly served on the 2006 Orchids and Onions selection committee, as a BBB Torch Awards judge in ‘07, a speaker at the 101 Powerful Woman Conference, is a member of the Citizens Diplomacy Council and currently sits on the board of the NFL Alumni-San Diego Chapter, and as a member of the LISC Neighborhood First Steering Committee.

Trisha Phillips joins the RTSD team as our Project Coordinator and is responsible for assessing project sites, inter-facing with team leaders and the logistical coordination of project undertakings.

A seasoned professional, she has a great ability to multi-task, while keeping an eye on details. Ms. Phillips has vast expertise in case management, customer service, event planning, education program administration, office management, vendor relations, contract skilled services, and volunteer relations.

As the former legal affairs coordinator at the San Diego Association of REALTORS, having her on board is of great value to our charity and its over-all operations.
