Dear Friends and Business Associates, 
 
I've become involved with a very worthy non-profit organization called Rebuilding Together San Diego. It's been a rewarding experience, and am writing to share some information about them, with hopes that you'd consider becoming involved too. 
 
The foundation of their program is to renovate homes of low-income families. Each project is "adopted" by a corporate sponsor and with the help of volunteers, and as a team we make the badly needed repairs to the homes of elderly and disabled homeowners throughout the county. 
 
Being part of the project work day is simply amazing!  It's like watching ABC's Extreme Home Make-over show, but you are the one making it happen - right here in our "own backyard". I can't really describe the feeling you get when you see how your hands-on efforts can make an immediate impact in changing someone's life. I do not hesitate in making a financial donation too, as I know that they leverage every dollar. I consider this an investment that goes directly back into our community, as home improvements secures property values and keeps crime down - I've seen the difference they make.
