Our Safe at Home program was created in response to the growing need for home safety modifications and minor home repair needs among low-income homeowners. Small housing repairs often become critical when not addressed for long periods of time, which can lead to significant risks to health and safety. Our year-round "Safe at Home" program, initially funded by E*TRADE Financial, provides minor home repairs and modifications for the elderly and disabled. Repairs are performed by small volunteer teams or by a handyman, as available. Each project is limited to no more than $250 in expenditures. This program addresses critical repairs that
