Established in 2006 through the vision of LPL Financial, the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) charity founded with the mission of encouraging and supporting the philanthropic and volunteer activities of the financial services community and its members. For over a decade, LPL Financial has actively participated as a project sponsor supported by its enthusiastic employees who have valued the hands-on experience and seeing the immediate gratification that their efforts have made. In 2008, LPL Financial employees, with the support of the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation, will again partner with RTSD.

The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation and its donors understand the importance of return on investment, which is why the Foundation is proud to support RTSD as the title sponsor this year.

"We are never at a shortage for rounding up volunteers to lend a helping hand to a family in need on a RTSD project," states  Joe Smey, project captain for the LPL Financial volunteers, will lead a team of over 40 to paint a home of a blind couple in Mira Mesa and clear canyon brush as the Carpenter Apprentice Union 564 will demo and rebuild an outside patio over-hang that has become a fire and safety hazard.

Our organization and the low-income homeowners we serve reap an enormous benefit from the partnership with this community-minded foundation.
